

A "Young Adult"
weight loss program developed especially for you. Our goal
is to help you achieve great weight loss results
while having a great time.
A separate program for young
women aged 18-25 run separately from the younger
campers. You have a weekly schedule consisting
of the most popular activities, however, you
have significant input in choosing your daily
schedule. This program is an affordable alternative
to more expensive weight loss spas that typically accommodate
older adults.
The Camp Shane weight loss
retreat is a beautiful place, surrounded by lush
countryside and rolling green hills. The weight loss resort
is full of things to do including aerobics and
Tae Bo classes, all sorts of sports, swimming
and boating, weight training, dance classes,
theater, arts and crafts and a lot 
more.

In this healthy environment,
weight loss is terrific, averaging 3-4 pounds per week or more. We have about 30 women in
this program from across the US and Europe.
You'll live in an area away from the younger
campers. Each room typically accommodates 4-6
with a private shower and toilet. The rooms
are paneled, carpeted and you'll have a private
lounge with cable/video TV. You can also enjoy
frequent off-camp trips to movies, shopping,
dining out, etc. All trips are supervised to
insure guidance to eating healthily in the real
world.
There is a coordinator
to help you arrange your schedule. We
make it easy for you to join in on the
activities of your choice. While you're
here, you'll be so busy with these wonderful
activities, you won't have to focus on
food.

All meals are portion
controlled and low in calories. We serve
three balanced meals plus two snacks a
day. We average about 1500-1600 calories
with about 21% fat. This is not a starvation
diet, but rather a menu of popular foods
correctly and deliciously prepared in
